Do you believe that your astrological sign has anything to do with your personality traits?

For instance, I am a Cancer, I love water. When we vacation we go to the beach, I love sitting in the hot-tub or in the swimming pool. I love to take showers, and would take 3-4 a day if time permited. Yet with all the water loving, I HATE to get rained on, if I even get a couple of sprinkles of rain on me, it can ruin my whole day.

One of my friends claims that this love of water is a trait of all people born a Cancer. Of course she also says there is no way my wife and I should be married since Virgos and Cancers should steer clear of each other.

Anyone believe in this astrology stuff?

i've always been successful. anything that's a task I know I can complete it. i guess sometimes I'm arrogant and stubborn. I hate it when people criticize me but I'm working on that. i know i'll do something big one of these days. i've gotta GF of 3 years that's 3 months older than me. she's a pisces I think.

i like the outdoors. i like playing with fire (i was a bit of a pyro when i was a kid. i love taking things apart and putting them together. i'm sometimes impatient but have corrected that years back.

Astrology is absolute BS. It even makes extremeist cults sound realistic without scientific proof. Looking at stars and guessing, based upon your birth date, what you are like and will do is total absurdity. Sure they can be a little fun, but anything remotely related to seriousness is retarded.

Astrology rocks and I am very good at finding information on peoples lives past and future. You must have very specific information to get specific results. In regards to Cancer and Virgo, Water and Earth should do very well together. They are complementary signs so I don't know who told you that they weren't. Somethings will always be true. For example, if you live to be 27-30 you will experience a major change in your life during this period. Check around. You wil marry, divorce, die, or go through a job change. I have found no exceptions.

You need a specific reading to get an "accurate" astrological report. The generic readings you see in newspapers, magazines, etc, is just there for entertainment.

No way! I remember seeing this piece of news about an experiment they did in USA. during one class, the scientists gave each student "Their personal horoscope, made by an expert, based on their birthdate and birthlocation". Each student examined his horoscope, and then they asked them that is it accurate. Most said that it is, it gave pretty good description of what they were like. Then they were asked to pass that horoscope to the person sitting in front of them. When they did they noticed that they were each given exactly the same horoscope!
