My 6 year old sister asked me this yesterday, when she came to visit and we had to tell her that our pet kitten "went to live with grandma".
It got me wondering if animals have a soul like people do...I mean really what makes them any different from us?
I would like to believe that Little Cliffy has his own vegi garden and a Gum tree to play in, where ever he is.
For myself and Michelle we feel a great loss, now that he is gone, which is funny when I was younger and still living with my parents, we had plenty of pet cats and dogs...if one died it was like "bummer..but oh well plenty more where that came from" (except when our pet rottwieler died when I was 16, who we had for over 10 years, I cried for awhile when she died).
But we only had our pet cat for 6 months or so...but we feel like a part of our lives in now gone, could this be grieving?
What does ATOT believe, I'm just curious to know?
