Do you believe that aliens have visited Earth? (UFOs)

I think there's a good chance of life existing elsewhere in this huge, huge universe, possibly a lot of it, some possibly sentient... and a possibility they've visited.... but we simply don't know, and without lack of evidence I'll lean toward no.

My conspiracy theory:

If Aliens showed up out in the open now the world would freak out and either A: Attack them B: Attack ourselves or C: All of the above.

Now what would happen if we discovered them first. Then it becomes a discovery to be celebrated.


So I'm guessing the big push to get to Mars ASAP is so that we can "discover" aliens who have already been visiting Earth and more then likely have communicated (for a long time) with an unnamed goverment (wink,wink). This way it will be a peaceful meeting instead of a big f#ckin panic.

i also believe they exist but have not visited.. simply because most other planets are so far away that unless they know super-speedy (10x speed of light) travel methods, it would take them past there probable life span to reach us.

I think they're out there, but knowing what I know about physics, I doubt they've visited. They could...after all, I think in a mere 3000 years we'll be able to traverse the stars, but will we want to?

Think about it this way: Imagine if the everyone stopped going to work, and the human machine stopped in it's tracks.

Cause I for one would stop going to work once they appeared to everyone in the skies.

So if Aliens do exist they would know this, and wouldn't want to upset our world.
 
If aliens do arrive, the future would probably be bleak for us. From our own human history, every more advanced civilization that came into contact with a lesser civilization either conquered or assimilated them.

So, we most likely would be slaves, prisoners, killed, or....food?
 
they prolly have, also hawking said that if they do find us we are toast. most likely they will just wipe us out. this is coming from one of the smartest dude's on this rock.

It's been suggested that any race that had evolved far enough to develop interstellar space traveler would not be hostile as they would have long figured out that is pointless.

Now if you gave the current human race interstellar space travel we would more then likely abuse as you suggested and bully any lower species we would find.

Hopefully any superior Alien race we happen upon would take us under their wing and wait until we had gotten over our mean streak before sharing any interstellar travel technology.

However I'm pretty sure disease, famine and hunger would no longer be an issue.
