Do you believe in the Devil?

Still baffles me how christians can celebrate halloween with a clean conscience.

It used to be a celebration called, "All Souls Day". Somehow it got screwed up along the way. Variation still celebrated in Mexico called, "Dia de los Muertos - Day of the Dead"

why? its just peoplr handing out candy. Does it suprise you that non-christians celebrate Christmas.

. . . its been a few years since I've been trick or treating. Usually I just want a few days after Halloween and purchase several kilos of discount candy. 🙂

I am the devil.

err wait, no, I'm just human.
No, I don't believe in the devil.
I have no reason to believe in any devil.
For that matter, I don't believe in anything supernatural (god, spirits, ghosts, flying spaghetti monsters, etc.)

well if theres a d evil then god is like someone who just walks past and ignores a crime in progress right?

If theres a good man to inspire nearby to do the right thing, like call 911 or stop the crime altogether, I think he would. Yes you could say the man might have done it otherwise, but you did mention a hypothetical and this is my hypothetical answer. Because I think everyone can be inspired by God to do right or the Devil to do wrong.

just seems unecessary and sadistic though. an abdication of responsibility.

yeah, why wouldn't he prevent the act from taking place to begin with?

in order to believe in the devil , you must also beleive in a righteous god of equal or greater good. The fact is, I have not seen proof of either.

is there a god such as that in the bible? Dunno, never met anyone who came back from the dead, but I do think there is a higher power of some sort.

Do miracles happen? yes

Does great evil exist? yes

but that goes back to the great balance of the universe, or as some would call it, the great struggle between good and evil.

so no, I do not beleive in the devil.

No. When you die you become worm food.

You are judged by society and no one else.

When you die that's it...

Well that kind of wasnt the question, but ok, thanks for sharing. 🙂

Okay, I'm sucking the devil's c0ck right now. But I don't believe she exists.

Edit-She doesn't believe that I exist either. How's that grab you?
