<< Atheists always say not to force your believes on someone else, but isn't that what public schools are doing? >>

This has been discussed numerous times before. Evolution is not a belief system as Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, etc are. It is a scientific theory based on empirical evidence and logical reason. Evolution is not the defining "belief" of atheists.

'empirical evidence and logical reasoning' vs. 'belief system'

what makes one superior to the other?
each has their purpose.
different means for different ends.

would you use a yardstick to weigh an object?
does that determine the value of the yardstick?

I started this thread asking if you "believed" in the Big-Bang theory.
Or do you consider a theory as fact?

YES and NO , I am skeptic about the actual theory itself, however, Between creation and BB, I rather choose the lattar. The BB theory although is supported with a myarid of scienctific evidences, it still possess a great deal of conflicts, and it does not answer all the questions we have. Contrastly, I have formulated my own theory, I think the blue/red shift phenomen astronmer observed is caused by a collison between anti-matter universe and our norm' universe. The collison between the two universe is caused by the massive attraction between the two opposite matters. As for the orgin of the universe, I think there is beginning or an ending to the unvierse because we human often are accustome to the liner logical reasoning, therefore, we tend to picture all things around as with a initalting point and an end point, but maybe the birth of universe requires no such law, after such matter is in comsic proportion, and why should we apply the rules of mortal being onto something of perpetual magnaficent?
