Do you believe in spirits

or should I use the term ghosts ... watching a show and there's a boy on it who has experienced stuff similar to the movie sixth sense ... a plate in his house flew of the top shelf and missed his father by like an inch ... a pshycic said it was the boys kinetic energy... the only time I have ever really wondered about spirits is when I lived in the house I used to live in. It had been the house of an older man that had been friends of my dads.. I always felt this presence there .. and weird stuff tended to happen sometimes ... a guy I knew was putting my ceiling fan up and we had to stop to go get some clamp things .. we came back to the house (no one had been there while we were gone) and the tools he had left on the table had been moved to different places. That kind of freaked us out. Anybody else ever had anything like that happen.

Yea, well, I'll probably get flamed for it, but I'll go ahead and say...

Spirits that do stuff like you discribed, do exist.. but they are evil spirits... Also people with pshycic abilities are powered (posessed) with these same types of evil spirits.. Now they are not evil the sense that they do bad things like "terrorize and murder", however, what there purpose is, is to make people think they have Powers, which is in itself evil. "... a pshycic said it was the boys kinetic energy... " Like that...
You hear pshyc's all the time telling people they have powers, they just need to learn to use them... uhmmm, this is an evil spirit telling you this. The bible is very clear about avoiding such spirit like activity.

OK, I'll admit this is all from my studies with the bible and bible study groups... so those of you who decide to flame that, just remember... I DID my homework on it. Do yours before you flame. If you disagree.. fine by me
If you want to know where I read this in the bible, I "can" dig up the scripture that supports all of it... It would be a bit of work though! hint hint And I'm not going to waste my time unless you are sincerely interested.
