Nope.

But I believe in George Bush and that he's the most brilliant leader this world can have  I also believe that God spoke to him--he's the Chosen One. ;)

i think people just think these things up because they are mentally weak or they want comfort of the idea of dying.

That's also why people find religion.

so we should count things that we have no proof of whatsoever? only on accounts of blurry images or tales from friends of a friend of a mom of a friend?

Must you either count or discount everything? Do you HAVE to have a decision on everything? Don't put words in my mouth and don't think the only answers are "yes" or "no."

well, its either they exists or they don't. no in betweens.

And since you can't prove either way, I'd say that's a pretty good indication that "yes" or "no" cannot be the only answers. :)

uh... i think its a default to say ghosts don't exists, you have to proof that they do.

for example... on a empty table, theres is nothing there. but if you say theres an apple there, you gotta convince people that exist, even when everyone else can't see anything on the table.

Awwww too bad you haven't seen one, that will change your mind real fast.

He probably can't. The human mind is amazing. Mental conditioning can train people to literally not see things.

and to see things that didnt exist, remember things that didnt happen, and so on. that one can be played either way.

ive never seen one, and dont have a reason to believe they exist.

I do not believe that "ghosts" exist.

I think if they did "exist" in any fashion where people could see them, or they could "haunt" things, then there would be documented scientific evidence that supports the theory of ghosts. This documented evidense would also need to NOT contradict reality. It would have to be fact rather then legend.

Such proof/evidense does not exist.

While you are at it, proove that god does or does not exist too.
(didn't mean to make this political or to bash theistic beliefs, just trying to use the analogy since there's no "proof" on either side of the table.)

I've seem one as well. I was standing in the doorway to my house and directly behind me was the hallway to my bedroom which had it's light on. If a brief second I saw something move across the doorway of my room. I can't describe what it looked like but something in the back of my mind was telling me that I saw something. Anyways after that I headed over to my g/f and left a note for my roommate telling him I thought I saw a ghost. A few hours later he calls my g/f's house in a little bit of a panic. Turns out there used to be 2 houses on the property and the back one burnt down with his great uncle in it. Don't know if it was him or not but it was pretty freaky.

What's wrong with taking a stab in the dark. There is a lot that we do understand (even if it is small in the big scope of things.) Why not make the best educated guess that you can make?
