Anyway I believe in the symbolism of Ganesh, not believe that he actually existed in real life at some point in time (he didn't).

What does Ganesh symbolize? Vishnu? I believe Jesus did walk the earth, and God has existed forever. But I always like learning about other faiths.

I have a small statue of Ganesh that I got in India a few years back....but I got it for it's intrinsic value only. It was interesting to learn about Hinduism while visiting temples.
