The couple if related to my ex. She called me this morning freaking out saying her cousin died in the fire. Unfortunate tragedy nonetheless. My ex is freaking out cuz she's thinking about what we did back in the day. I wont get into it because I dont want to start a flame war but just know that this news somehow relates to our situation from 5 years ago.

Story about the girl that died.

Two years ago she had a kid with an ex. She barely saw the kid and really didn't pay attention to the kid. The father was the one who stepped up and did what he could do give their kid a good life. At the time, they broke up and she was messing with another guy (the guy that saved their current baby). Anyways, the kid died, got hit by a car or something. She felt bad and admitted she never was a good mom so she promised herself she would be a much better mom next time. Oh, about a year later she decided to have another baby with her current bf.

Well, now looked what happened. The father jumped out the window w/ their baby (both survived) while the mom died (not sure from what). Anyways, my ex is freaking out but I told her things happened for a reason. Don't take what happened to us and compare it to this.

Sad story.

that seems uncalled for...and now i want the story.

death sucks :(

last year (i think) there was a story about a local woman who left her kids asleep in her apartment at 4AM while she went to wal-mart to get groceries and the place caught fire....kids died :(

I was 23 and she was 21. She cheated on me and got pregnant. Til this day I KNEW it wasn't my kid (even though she insisted it was mine), but we made up and I had to calm down for her own sake. We had an abortion, we knew we weren't ready to have a kid. Back of my mind it wasn't my kid and I sure as hell wasnt going to take care of someone else's kid. During the midst of it all I kept saying the baby wasn't mine but she cried and out of frustration I said f it, ok whatever.

Fate? No. Heisenberg's uncertainty principle prevents it. ;)

My view is that the Universe is utterly uncaring as to our existence, much less as to our daily goings-on.

It's hard to tell from that somewhat abstract painting of a post but going off his second post I'm guessing he and the ex feel guilty for the abortion and now think God has served up some vengeance.

Bunch of hogwash IMO. You make your own luck.

I don't see how those two separate events are even remotely related to one another.

I couldn't follow your logic, and am too lazy to go over it again, but from what I gather you believe that cheating on BF+getting pregnant=die in a fire.

If that were the case, Maury and Jerry Springer wouldn't be too well known.

quick fix: don't worry about what happens to others or your past... focus on doing the right thing in your life... once u r all sorted out u can be like me and give out sage advice to others...

Disturbing sense of justice or Karma.

This is confusing but I think he's saying she got what she deserved because she cheated on him and also she was a terrible mother to a child.

But then he goes on to say how he wanted and had her get an abortion because the other one was not his child.

So concerned about one child and how she treated it yet he didn't even give the other one a chance to live and had it killed. Hey a babies parents doesn't make it a bad baby you know or any less deserving of life.

So she got what she had coming to her? So what do you have coming to you then?
