do you balance your check book?

I don't balance but I've never had a check bounce...

The only charge I've gotten was last summer when I first got my ATM card and checking account and deposited my first check into it, then withdrew some money at an ATM, and even though I checked my balance on the ATM and it said there was enough, I got a charge for overdrawing my account cause the money wasn't actually in there...

Never have, I've had a checking account for a bit over 12yrs and nope never balanced it.

I think it has to do with my profession, I'm an accoutant. last thing I ever want to do is reconcile my checkbook!
