Do you auto-hide your dock ?

im still new to osx but i want to leave the dock on without autohide but i hate it taking so much space.

Make it a side dock. That way you don't have to hide it, and you free up the precious vertical real estate.

Small right side dock with magnify. I think I'm the only Mac user in the universe who likes it on the right side lol.

bottom, hide. I actually like how the new 3D dock looks (w/ the the high contrast mod).

I can't get used to the dock on the side

I keep it on the bottom, hidden, which works pretty well for me. I started doing it that way because it's a 15" laptop, but now that I have a 24" monitor I might reconsider. Probably won't change though.

Bottom, always visible, but medium-sized with magnify. I really don't find it that intrusive (I'm on a MBP w/17" 1920x1200 screen.)

heh, maybe that's why. I couldn't justify a 24" imac. It's really annoying though when I'm working in full screen and there's that gap of unused wasted space. yes, I'm a little OCD.

omg, you must have magnifying glasses for eyeballs or something  My monitor is 7" bigger with the same resolution. How do you see anything? 😛

Is that the native resolution of the panel?

13 inch. i keep it on the bottom w autohide. tried it on the side... but u jsut have to move ure cursor really far over to get to see it

I tried to hide for a while but it was too annoying. I just keep it small and magnify the icons on rollover. Works fine for me.
