I noticed today on the phone that i tend to ask the same question to my girlfriend at least twice. Its not that i didnt hear her answer, or that i wasnt listening. Its just weird and i dunno why i do it.

Does anyone else do this?

I only do that if I want to be absolutely sure about someone's answer. :)

See for me these are just stupid chitchat questions... Like 'How was class?' She tells me, i completely remember and we start talking about something else. 3 minutes later 'How was class?'

Personally it is ok (i guess) even though it is annoying and indicates that either you weren't listening the first time or didn't care when you first asked.

Professionally, it is unacceptable. Not only do you waste someone's time by having them (or someone else) repeat something you have already heard, but more importantly it means that you are doomed to make the same mistakes multiple times.

Yah im worried my girlfriend thinks im an idiot

I think the fact that my mind wanders alot is partially to blame. I have a hard time concentrating.

sometimes. like if i lose my place in my script. usually not. unless of course the answer i got had nothing to do with the question i asked. but i don't think that counts.
