Do you always long for the place you are about to leave?

I do, unfortunately. See, I was looking forward to move back to LA and was really focusing on the transfer and other stuff...when I finally got the confirmation from LA school, all of a sudden, I find myself longing for the city I am about to leave. Damn, I hate this feeling....why can't I be a bit more forward-looking and not backward...sigh
