Do you actually keep notes in the back of software/game manuals?

I was flipping though my Quake 4 manual and saw the notes section and thought, does anyone even keep notes back there?

So, do you?

Yes! I keep a stack of video game manuals by the phone for taking messages.

Never have. Those are probably extra pages from the printing process. Several "pages" are printed on huge sheets of paper which are folded, cut and bound, so I imagine it's cheaper to simply make any extra blank pages "notes pages" than to allow for removing them.

I have before, in games like Myst, or RPGs where I need to remember something. Generally not necessary in FPS's though. Ok, fine, maybe the occasional config file changes go there too so I don't have to figure it out again :)
