The reason that I ask, is they just arrived from Fedex from Walmart, and inside the cardboard box was a syrofoam cooler, with a cold gel-pack.

NEED? No. ;)

As mentioned above however it is a very good idea.

Yeah as above and walmart probably ships all chocolate on ice.
Cooled York Peppermint Patties are awesome. Keep some in the fridge and try it out.

They need trashination, they are horrible. Throw them away and get some yummy Andes mints.
^ from not particularly good to just plain awful. Andes are mint scented candle wax. You could have said, "Pearson's", and we would have forgiven you for the past forty-eight hours of garbage posts but you had to double down and say, "Andes", for shame.

Andes suffered the same fate as so many other formerly necessary products ... greed. I remember when it wasn't the holiday season without them. There was only one variety and you really couldn't find them all year.

Then the price went up. Then there were less in the package. Then they changed the package. Then they changed the quality and flavor (or so it seemed). Then they added more varieties. Then I stopped buying them. Haven't had a one in several years.

I get this, seems like years ago the chocolate was more creamy than current day versions. Current chocolate seems dry and crumbly

I remember Andes being better too. I got some a few years ago, and they weren't like I remembered. Dunno if it's me or the product, but I don't see a need to get them again.

With your health, you should not be consuming the ultraprocessed, unholy mix of toxic sugary yumminess and the bland oxidizer known as vegetable oil.

The only reason to consume carbs en masse is if you job demands it, such as hockey players. That's why they balloon into fatties later in life. They still eat like their 25 year old selfs and not their coaching selfs.

Their chocolate cherry Christmas flavor is delicious.
