Well DUH!! A guy can't go out and do a one-night stand by himself so of course women are just as guilty.

I know. I am the only guy in my department currently and I always go to lunch with AT LEAST 4 women.

It depends on the woman, of course. Most of my female friends do, and I do. And like men, we get those guys who we give the fake numbers to afterward, then they see us out somewhere and it's awkward and they're all pouty, or we get those guys that think because we hooked up we are now officially an item... males and females are very similar, in my opinion.

OTOH, you'd be surprised what can happen if you tell a gal, "I, uh, am not really interested in dating--just having fun." And then assume it's over.
BUT, it's not always over--you just let her know where you are coming from, and from now on it's her call.
