I've had no luck with mine so far. Has anyone *ever* been able to set up a repeater to relay a signal from a 2Wire-brand AP?

Who is the maker of the Repeater? and didn't really know 2wire made an AP. Why not get like a Linksys WAP and Repeater?

I had tried an Airlink AP411W which can function as a half-dozen or so devices including an AP, PtMP bridge, wireless bridge, AP repeater, etc. The documentation had no compatibility disclaimer, so there must be some serious omission in the documentation. The AP is a 2Wire DSL modem with wireless capability built in. I've tried everything imaginable to make the . repeater function work without reconfiguring the landlord's 2Wire modem (which I don't have access to). I think there is a fundamental incompatibility with the 2Wire device. Net stumbler reports the bandwidth of the 2Wire AP as "22mbps". How is that possible?

I returned the Airlink AP/repeater and purchased an Airlink "universal repeater" (which costs the same price as the AP but does not have any other capability). Just in case, I also purchased a Linksys range extender. I won't get a chance to try either today. If anyone has any advice, please let me know.
