Do whitening strips work at all?

Trying to hear some feedback before i plop down $50 on a box. Need to whiten my teef

Yes, they do. They work about as well as professional ones, from what I've read/heard.

This but some people get sensitive teeth when using them. I did but it went away after I stopped using them.

they do, but they are hard to keep in place/slobbering tends to dislodge and u have to sorta lie back😛

night effects where you smear some on for a while works better.

My dentist said they work well but don't usually reach your back teeth. If you care about that, ask your dentist to it.

I think laser whitening is 500-700 bucks, but thats just a guess. Also the new Crest strips are suppose to stay on really well, they run about 40 bucks from Walmart etc.

I have used it, and it did work until I stopped using them because my teeth got sensitive to the touch, while using them, and sometimes whenever I breathed and air passed my teeth.

The Crest Whitestrips are great, I've used them a few times.

yeah i used the crest ones, they worked great.

I was curious about these products myself. Seems like ATOT is generally positive.

I do have sensitive teeth already, though only mild. Will the strips aggravate it?

i bought some today. supposed to show improvement after 3 days and finished by 7. use a top and bottom strip for 30 minutes twice a day.

it was $35. it sucks because im sitting here with my mouth opening and have to keep swallowing saliva but i'll update in 7 days.

Take pics of progress for our amusement/enlightenment if you're not self-conscious about it. I was going to try these as well after I finally make it to the dentist for a super cleaning or whatever they're trying to do to me...

I know this thread is super old, but I didn't want to start another thread about the same thing. Anyway, do the dentist procedure using trays for teeth damage the teeth enamel? Also if I was to whiten my teeth with whitening strips, how long will my teeth stay white after the completion of the treatment?

Yeah I tried these a long time ago (2002) when they first became available. I used crest white strips I think, my teeth were really really white for a few months. I bet they have improved them by now and they probably work even better now. Hmm, maybe I'll go pick up a box of them and use them again.
