They are good dogs though. Get one anyway.

Same size as a Weimaraner. Smarter. Doesn't shed. Doesn't have to be cut like a... I don't know WTF that cut is supposed to look like, but it doesn't need to be cut at all. Then of course, there's the Giant Schnauzer... <shrug> I can't see owning any dog!

WTF are you talking about? Both of our Weims are over 60+ lbs. The male is around 75...

I'm pretty sure german dogs moult, be sure to have lots of rocks & trees for them to work off that old skin with...

Oh wait that's snakes😱

Get a standard (large or king size) poodle, I saw one the other day & aside from looking effeminate, (it had a poodle trim, the guy was blind & I don't think he realized how scary it looked).

Give it a close trim, poodles don't shed, they're like a sheep, and they were initially bred to be a hunting dog, like the Weimaraner's, so they'd have a similar disposition.

i really just dont think i would look all that cool, or would be able to talk to chicks with a poodle standing by my side

  • Ah yes, you'll be a great pet owner.

Oh yeah, that bag of dog poop will really go well with your European Carry All 😀

I've only been around one, and if you didn't do the gay (not that there's anything wrong with that) trim, they're a pretty studly looking dog.

The one I grew up around belonged to a forest ranger & they kept it trimmed up, (non-puffy BS trim) & it was a really cool dog. Plus everyone would ask WTF kind of dog it was.

Our dogs are still pups... they will both end up over 80lbs. Poodles are not in the same class size as Weims.

Their high and low full grown sizes overlap. Close enough. Still same size bags of dog sh|t I'm sure!

Ya know, you could put the sh|t bag IN the European Carry All! Women find that attractive.

WTF are you talking about? Are you drunk?

I grew up with a "grey ghost" for 13 years, and I don't remember her shedding that badly. If I recall correctly (it's been 14 years since she died), she would shed at the end of winter and not much else during the year. Regardless of the shedding, she was a FANTASTIC dog and the absolute height of gentleness and loyalty. I could not have asked for a better pup to grow up with. They are beautiful dogs, and I've never met one that didn't have a terrific personality.

A poodle?!? Geez, get a real dog.
