Do we really need the sun?

i think i'd be pretty pissed if i were to wake up and find that its 3 degees Kelvin outside. i also think i'd be pretty pissed having my planet hurtling across the universe at 67,000 miles per hour because the thing it was orbiting around disapeared,

The radiation would be from lack of an atmosphere which would be destroyed by the massive temperature fluctuation.

I think you're missing my point that SOLAR radiation comes from the SUN, so if the SUN is GONE there would be no SOLAR radiation....

JLGatsby doesn't need the sun because his Pathfinder can drive through cold fusion like it's NOTHING. NOTHING. he once drove through 25 feet of cold fusion, when his car wouldn't have even been able to move. he would have had to just park it back in the garage. luckily his pathfinder doesn't need the hot fusion. it can drive on teh cold.
