Do we have mini-nukes yet? (a la Starcraft or Starship Troopers)

Do we have mini-nukes that we can use in battles at all? I know the environmental drawbacks are there, but just wondering if they ever made such a thing.

Starcraft had mini-nukes? 😕

but anyway I believe "suitacase nukes" are realistically possible so I guess they can make them quite small. You probably don't want to be firing a nuke on anything less than a missile anyway 😉

no, but the US wants to make them

Pretty sure the russians built a few, plus the traditional ICBM actually has many nukes in the warhead, so I assume the US stockpile includes some pretty small ones.

Something like this perhaps?

I love the old nuke test stuff, watching the hapless blokes sit in the shockwave of a nuke, getting their hair blown back with their goggles. Cracks me up.

nope, we wanted bombs that could destroy very very deep and hardened bunkers. small bombs have existed for a long time now.

i agree. small bombs don't do much. i do recall reading that several countries suposdly created nuclear land mines, but this seems a stretch...
