I asked nicely to calm the language, and I get blasted for it.

Does no one have morals or respect for another being? Only what they can grab for themselves.

I take it you haven't stopped by the Politics & News forum 😉 Not only does the language you happen to find offensive, populate almost every thread, your claim of being "blasted" doesn't score well on the mega2004 Blast-o-meter. 😛

You are right though, using cursing to show your discontent isn't the best or nicest way to do it.

Don't take the "attack" personally, it's just people on here don't like people playing "mommy". 🙂

If you didn't care for his language, why did you continue to read his thread?

In all honesty, i think your being a little oversensitive.... Blasted for your comments? C'mon now.... You dish a comment, you got one in return....

Well, there are some language rules here, but depending on who you are and who you know, they may or may not be enforced when they are broken.

Anyway, I think that guy comes off as a bit of a [insert naughty word here], so I'd suggest ignoring the thread. It's just another one of those "my ATI card doesn't work so all ATI cards and software sucks!" rants by an nvidiot.

First, the extent of the cussing was "God Damn" which by most non-hyper-conservative-Christian standards, is not cussing.
Blaspheming, yes. Cussing, no.

Second, I see no indication that you have been "blasted" in any way, shape or form. The two responses to your oversensitivity were:
1) "Eh? Example?"
2) "?😕"

I really would like to know how that is considered "blasting" and how on God's green earth can you possibly take offense to that?

Just out of curiousity, have you been outside in the past 50 years? Turned on the TV? Watched a movie? Talked to other, real live human beings? You might want to start soon. 😀

edit: However, yes, I will agree with you that the original poster was overreacting to his problem and did not handle it in a mature manner. But you should really get used to the fact that this may be a moderated forum but if you want "G-Rated" discussion you'd be better off reading the newest issue of Highlights Magazine.
