Like those who develope our film, is there anything that would stop them from looking through our pictures?

Just wondering!

Thanks in advance.

Nope, no privacy

How do you think that girl working the machine caught that kid that was gonna go "Columbine" at that college in CA?

Nope, they see them. Most photo labs have VERY strong rules against explicit pictures, & will destroy anything they deem explicit. They also take the liberty to report child porn to the authorities.

There are a few processing labs that will take anything, no questions asked (except for child porn, duh).

no privacy whatsoever!
I think that is why people get polaroids and digital cameras. No developing hassle.

The photodeveloper clerks are supposed to look for kiddie porn and anything that they think is weird or obscene.
Just recently in the bay area a guy got busted having pictures of himself with guns and bombs.
The photo clerk was the daughter of a San Jose police officer. The guy in the pictures
intended to bomb his school a la Columbine.

What? Build his own darkroom? Simple enough for b&w but do you people have idea of the money and hassle for a color lab?!?! :) If you have pictures of an adult nature you may want to look around on the internet and find a lab that you can mail them to that will develop them. There are plenty out there, you just have to wait a bit longer and pay a bit more.

I think he's speaking from a "I have one of these labs and I will charge you mucho dollar for the privacy, even though I will PM some of them to members on this board" position ;)

And, Soybomb, I'm still waiting for my last batch of photos to arrive. It's been three weeks!

I've done some b&w developing which is pretty easy. Color is harder as the bomb states. Be wary of developers and metal detectors!

i'm thankful right now that they do look over the pics because of the guy that took pictures of him and all his weapons. the next day we was planning to blow up de anza college. an alert photo clerk saw the pictures as suspicious and called the police, stopping him hours before he was going to start planting the bombs.

So whoever wants a scan of the pictures he sends me to develop send $20 to
John.......wait he can read this! ;)

Hehe I've had some photography experience, but never had a willing subject for the risque stuff :D

And yes a black and white darkroom is fun, but if they are pictures of what I imagine I think you loose some of the effect hehe.

a friend of mine works at blacks and believe me no privacy
at someplaces if they develop nekkid pics they have to throw them away, its their policy
if its drug related, dont worry too too much

*kat. <-- has poloroids and video camera for that kind of kinky stuff
