Do video cards run slower when you have independent dual displays ?

I just got my pny 6800nu a few days ago and tested it in a sempron 2500+ 512 ddr400 freshly built no oc on the cpu machine. it scored around 3900 in 3dmark05.

Now its in my intel 2.4C @ 3.2 and it scored less when tested it. I have two screens with this pc and when the main one goes into a game the other still shows the desktop. I just turned off the monitor and it barey beat the amd score...this is also with the vid core clocked 20mhz more

my ram in the intel is lower tho because of the divider. cpu fsb is 268 and ram is at 179x2 mhz

or could it be that this pc hasnt been defragged or formatted since it was built (summer '03)

when you use dual display it uses more cpu power depending on that resolution you are using on your first and second display.
