Do veins stick out a lot more in one of your arms?

Veins in my right arm are a lot more prominent (exhibit more relief) than those in my left arm. I think it's because the right arm is my mousing (actually trackball in my case) arm, so it does a lot more work than the left. Although i seem to remember that we naturally all have some slight amount of body dimorphism with regard to things like arm size, not just due to a difference in how much we use it.

Sometimes I cannot really see the veins in my arms very clearly, and sometimes they look like they are about to pop out :p Especially when I am using my arms at the gym etc. so that's logical. Though I haven't really noticed it, my right arm does seem to be a little more "veinier". Dunno why, don't think it is a reason for concern though!

Mine are about the same, although they're positioned slightly differently. Never paid attention before.

I think you need to go get a CT scan dennil, could be something wrong with your aortic arch, like an obstruction.

Definitely need to get it checked out.

No the problem is definitely in his Superior Vena Cava. Aortic arch would manifest in unequal arterial pressures, this is venous.

Seriously: Yes one arm will have veins more prominent than the other; its normal. I have to give blood all the time....and asked this from the phlebotomist and that is what I was told.
