Do u get winter weight?

I think this is my first time to have any resemblance of a gut. Do most people gain some weight during the cold?

Oh, I've definitely been gaining winter weight the past few years. Last year I ran 3 -4 miles 3 days per week and worked it off. I'm committed to doing it again this year too. This will start next month when it warms up a bit.

I usually gain weight in the summer due to being in a cubicle working all day instead of getting lots of excersize at college.

Negative. Exercise bike and treadmill in the basement along with winter basketball league help keep the winter flub away.

I do due to not being active, I can't run outside like I can when there's no snow or bullshit. I still lift, but I get high bodyfat and look like a jiggly mass.

Yes like 10lbs. I was determined to reverse the trend this year but a spate of illnesses and injuries ruined that. <sigh>

I'm running 50-60 miles a week right now so even with eating close to 4000 calories a day I'm still 132 pounds... Even if I didn't run I doubt I'd be more than 135 or so. I can't gain weight to save my life.
