do u donate $ etc?

Yes, to the following ;

Fraternal Order Of Police
MS foundation
Save the children
Christian children's relief fund

Oh, almost forgot the biggest donation, the Federeal government !

I start by donating 10% gross to the church, then add additional to the homeless and especially to charities that focus on protecting children (Foundation for Missing and Exploited Children most recently I think!)

That's not really a "donation" 😀

I prefer to donate on personal levels... Like the TonyH auctions, friends who need help, etc.

The only charity I've donated signifigant money or time is for breast cancer. The "Light the Night" walks that I do every year...

My wife had ovarian and cervical cancer. She's had the ovary removed, and the freeze treatment took care of the cervix, so no problems after like 6 years. But we're both worried it may return. Hence the breast cancer work.

Besides: I believe women should be able to keep their bewbies!!! 😛

I don't donate to anything right now, but then again I have almost no money right now. When I can, , I prefer to give to smaller institutions though. I think that there is a lot of overhead cost involved with the larger charities.

I donated $18.01 to Circuit City last night for Battlefield 1942.

Donated $24 to the Citgo station this morning for some gas.

how much and how often varies.. but we give money to the Y, ALS, AIDS, breast cancer, college radio. stuff to goodwill (if we want to tote it), his house (if we want it picked up), computer stuff to the housing authority, and time to the school.

Yeah, that's a JACK.

I donate every once in a while when I find someplace that I think deserves it. Last donation was to the D-Day foundation I believe.

Only directly now adays. A man digging in a dumpster for bottles and cans is doing something to help themselves. People who can ask for help don't need it. I've found that even the best of charities are too corrupt. Take a look at foodbanks. They "volunteers" there take home the best foods and are stingy to the poor... in a local case, stingier to the children of the poor. I got too pissed off volunteering here. Stuck doing the crap jobs while others took all the glory and all the good food from the poor kids. I've met people in need, and I'm sure many of you know someone. Why waste 99.9% of the dollar on the charity organization when you can give 100% as opposed to .01% directly to your fellow human? A lot of the people in need can't even get help or have to struggle to get it. I know... I've been there.

No, I'm poor. I donate some of my time though to the humane society.

When 9/11 happened I donated $50 to the Red Cross.

I've donated about a few pints of white fluid.

Ever since the Red Cross Santa Clause forgot to say "God Bless You", i've stopped donating to them.

well. unemployed, don't really wanna be giving away money right now...
will gladly accept donations though!
