do u assume that people who like computers know of AT?

i was having dinner with some friends' parents yesterday and met this pretty young couple. the guy is apparently obsessed with computers and builds them all the time etc.

so i just made the assumption that he would know what AT was...

and yes, he had "heard of it" but didn't know of the forums etc... apparently he had done some reading up on the AT HW review site...

so do you ever make the assumption that some computer savvy person you just meet will know of AT?
