I was reading Radicaldreamer's eBay thread, and this got me thinking. Where do I stand compared to everyone else? In what situation is this ok, or is it always a no? Now with 100% more poll.

99.9% of the time I'm a no. But, I think in rare circumstances, where you are intentionally wronged by someone, that committing a wrong that is neither illegal nor malicious, is fine.

For example, someone sells me a counterfeit piece of software off eBay. I don't want to get in trouble for sending counterfeit software through the mail back to the guy just to get Paypal to accept a full refund. So, I'd just send a small empty box to satisfy Paypal's tracking requirements to getting refunded on the item.

I'd probably be pissed and just keep/use the disk I paid $25 for.

If I was pissed enough, I'd anonymously send the disc to whoever makes it with a note on where I got it and what PayPal wanted me to do.

-1 * -1 = 1

AND

-1/-1 = 1
(-1) - (-1) = 0
(-1) + (-1) = -2

So basically in only 1 out of 4 scenarios its incredibly wrong and 2 are good and 1 is OK, so I overall 2 wrongs isn't so bad after all...

So what you're saying is that it's a 25% of being truly wrong? :p

Don't forget, the Absolute value of 1 and -1 are both 1.
