You suck out the air with a vacuum cleaner, the bag collapses along with its contents and occupies a small space. I'm running out of closet space. ;)

They wrinkle my clothes. I use them when I travel back and forth from college. I generally stuff clothes that I don't care get wrinkled (underwear, socks, that sort of thing).

They're cool as hell but they don't work as well as they claim :/

From our experience, they tend to slowly inflate over time until they're not flat anymore. This happens with all of the bags we purchased too so its not just one that's leaking.

I wouldn't - we have a ton of those bags, and use them all the time. I haven't had any of them reinflate or slowly leak or anything - I have one with a touchy seal, if you pick it up a certain way the seal will open. It's the big bag meant for comforters. The rest work find. We even have the ones that don't need a vacuum, you can roll them up and squeeze the air out.

I believe there is an instructable out on how to use them to vacuum seal your food too!! :p

Where did yall buy your bags at? I bought some at Walmart and they seem fine. Although I did rip one.

They will crush fibers in some things, as well. If you put in a feather pillow or down comforter, it won't come back to its original fullness if you leave it in the bag too long.

Your tires leak too, and I assure you this valve is nothing like the quality of the tire valve. How can you expect it to perform better than your tire?
