Does anyone here have any experience with one of those super plungers? My new apartment has very low flow toilets and we have ummm...problems occasionally - these things worth the $25?

I say go with the lowest tech solution that can do the job. Don't forget that feces will go up into that reservoir, and it might be toughter to flush them out later.

If it's anything like the #2 poop on "ratemypoo dot com", he's going to need more than that little high-tech plunger thingie...

It depends, some bowls have an irregular shape down there and a regular one won't seal properly.

I wouldnt think so, normal plungers work plenty fine. I think theyre just pulling your float bowl chain :D

Thats one thing I miss about dorm room toilets. You could flush a basketball down those.

The toilet in my apartment really sucks too, and that super plunger cleared everything out when the standard plunger wasn't cutting it.

I've got one of those super plungers and tho I rarely need it I've never run into a "problem" I couldn't get rid of. ;)

I think I paid like $7 for it @ Ace Hardware... the regular ones were $3.
Maybe I should have posted that in Hot Deals? lol :)

Oh, and how...

Hehe... like the ones we have here at work; when you flush you need to move quick or it will take you down with it.. :D

lol The ones we have... well, just stand clear. The entire hall can hear when one person flushes, it's humorous.

Only our wonderful government could get us to the point where every bathroom has to have a plunger sitting next to the toilet. If I had known how horrid these low flow monstrosities were when we bought our house I would have brought the old low flow ones from my previous house. I would stay with the simple one for the reasons given by Supertool.
