I bought my terk antenna years ago and it swivels so you can adjust it which its troublesome when watching football on Sundays and switching between games.it would be nice to have an antenna that didn't need to be adjusted

Put one high up and properly aimed. Panel antenna will pull in more stations than the terk.

Not really. They are good antennas but they are not magic. They still have to be aimed. I live within direct line of sight of a number of broadcast towers and have to move my MoHu Leaf to get proper reception between different channels. I basically need it to be at a right angle to my normal placement if I want to get any reception on the local Fox affiliate.

I moved my Mohu all over the place before I said F it and went back to the antenna on my deck. If you live in a location where the towers are at different angles, you will need a good omnidirectional antenna if you dont want to adjust it. I dont think there is a good indoor one. You can try putting a few antennas in different locations and combining them.

Ive had luck with mine in a south facing window when all the stations are coming from the North in Kansas City.

YMMV. Had one in two different places; worked great one place and was utterly worthless in the other. Really depends on signal strength, obstructions, etc. Hard to say without trying it out.

Seems to be some luck involved ours which is used infrequently since fios is so reliable but we have used it, the antenna is jammed behind the TV and it works great. The same one I picked up for my Parents who moved close by (about 2 miles) sucks barely picks up anything.
