So I lost my wallet along with my ATM card about a week ago..still waiting to get my ATM card back so I can get some cash, and it'll be a while before my drivers license comes back..but I need some cash. What I can do is go into those check into cash places in order to get some, but do they require some sort of ID for it?

go to your bank where you opened the account and tell them what happened. they should be able to give money since they have your signature card.

I pretended to lose my wallet, then cashed 8 weeks in pay checks and maxxed out 25K in credit.
Claimed it lost, made out like a bandit!

Would be silly if they didn't ask for an ID. Someone can steal a check and cash it if ID was not required.

Get a state ID card to go along with your license. That way you will always have a backup in case you lose you license again.

in la, areas like in van nuys have places that cash checks with no id.. however they will finger print you and stuff.

i have no idea what they do exactly, most of my check cashing has been done at the issuing bank. Last year when i worked for estrategic, and they bounced a paycheck, i decided to encash the checks the day i got it.
