Do thin 2 inch screws or bolts exist?

OK, I succeeded in putting on a Coolermaster 40mm fan on the side of my Zalman NB47J. But, I don't like the way I put it on. I put it on with wire from "twist-ties". (I just took off the plastic wrapped around it.)

I kind of prefered the idea of putting it on with screws. But, they'd have to be like 2 inches long while still being very thin. Do those exist?

Sure do!

The Ace Hardware near me has 8-32,6-32 & 4-40 in 2"lenghts. They even have nylon screws
but not 2"s long.
Do not over tighten and if your worried about one coming loose, put a tiny drop of clear nail polish where the screw exits the nut covering both. Do not use super glue as it must be heated with a soldering iron for removal. I won't tell you how i came to know this 😀

Galvanized

As for removing superglue, acetone works well... (fingernail polish remover).
But nail polish would work well too.
Home Depot or Lowe's has all the selection of screws in any length you could utilize in a PC case, if your local Ace doesn't have them long enough for ya.
