Do they still make the Prelude ANYWHERE?

I noticed on Honda's website there is NO mention of a Prelude anywhere that I can see... and on EDMUNDS.com there are no records of a Prelude passed 2001. Is this accurate? Does anyone here know if they still make/sell the Prelude in other parts of the world? If so how much do they cost and how much would just the engine cost?

My bro is looking at a 91 accord that supposedly has a "2003 prelude engine" in it, all for $3500-4000cdn... sounds like BS to me, but he checked it out and the engine looked brand new to him (he doesn't know all that much though). But - I'm thinking wouldn't the engine itself (and importing it, if it's still made in other parts of the world) cost a lot more than $3500-4000 ? not to mention the cost of labor involved putting the engine in, fixing it up (suspension mods), and the cost of the car itself?

what do you think?

I'm differentiating nothing, I haven't seen the car. I was just making a point that he was told it was a brand new 2003 prelude engine, and that he said it looked very new/clean when he saw it for himself. And I also pointed out he is not very mechanically... educated, so there. 😛 wanted ATOTs car junkies' opinions on the matter. I personally think it'd be too good to be true for that price if everything they said was in fact not total bullcrap.

yep. honda no longer manufactures the prelude for sale in the u.s. the last model was introduced in 2001
