I am looking for a replacement or possibily an upgrade to the current battery i have. For some reason i can't find any on ebay or on google... help please
 
Fedco Electronics Lithium Ion battery pack for Acer Aspire 3000 series

These batteries for your notebook do exist and are quite pricey. Fedco makes good aftermarket batteries. You cannot buy directly from their site as they only sell to resellers. Expect to pay around the price listed, plus shipping if you can't find a local reseller.

You can also try looking on Ebay.

If you still absolutely cannot find the battery for sale and need one, PM me. I know of a local mom&pop computer shop that is a Fedco reseller and I can give you their phone number.
 
I was looking at an Acer 3000. Do you have it yet? I was wondering about its performance by having a Sempron, but I figured for $650 ish a Sempron isn't bad and I could put in an Athlon 64 Mobile and add a gig of ram for a total of $850 or so..

i got a acer 3003wlci for $430 🙂, its a pretty good laptop for that price. The lcd is nice and the amount of ram and hd space is also good. the performance by the sempron is pretty good, all the operations are smooth. The only draw back is the size of the 3000, its a little wide, and also the battery life... it holds about an hr charge... and that is why i am looking for a better battery.
