Do they sell fruit fly traps at home depot? What works?

So, my GF lives in an apartment that is actually the top floor of a house, that was converted into an apartment. The house is probably 50+ years old. Lately there seems to be a ton of fruit flies in her place. She noticed them, and promptly made sure she didn't leave any fruit out. She also made sure the garbage was closed up, and that no food items were sitting out. Also, her place is usually very clean and tidy, and she vacuums and dusts every week. She can't seem to get rid of them? Any suggestions? 😕

that have to be hatching from somewhere. they don't live that long, just a few days probably. So if this is a continueing problem then there is something that is supporting the hatch. Has she talked to her neighbors?

I looked online at home depot and they have some traps, so that is what she is gonna buy.

I don't think she had talked to her neighbors about it? The apartments are completely separate from each other(she has her own central air system for her apartment).

She says there doesn't seem to be a source for them. They just seem to be hanging out everywhere.

I have one of those elecontric raquet fly zapper things that I am going to bring her next time I see her.
