Do they not make 26" bikes anymore?

I had a Trek mountain bike in high school, and I'm going to get another one this spring, but the biggest frames they offer are 21.5"?

I'm 6'6", so I think a just slightly bigger than 20" bike might be pushing it.

26" is the tire size.

21.5" is the frame size, it probably has 26" Tires. For a bigger guy like youself, try to get a bigger frame, I'm not sure how big they run. Go to a real bike shop first.

Is there any sort of recommended size frame per persons height?

True that.

I tried the 29" wheel MTB offroad and didn't like it very much.

Is the frame size 19", or the wheel? I was referring to the wheel size. If a 19" frame size is good for you, a 21.5 should be good for me . . hmm.
