Do they make ceiling fans with flourescent lights?

Mine gets freakin got if i leave it on for awhile... I was wondering if they made either ceiling fans with flourescent lights, or even just light kits for them...

Yes they do.. Go to a local hardware shop.. Though a large scale place would prolly be better for this..

I screw in the compact flourescent bulbs and yes it does reduce the heat generated

yea, all i use for lighting my room anymore are the flourescent bulbs - i like the kind that are longer, not the normal bulb looking shape - looks kinda funny, but lights up the room nicely, and keeps it much much cooler
