Question Do they make any multi CPU motherboards any more?

I remember a couple of decades ago, seeing a motherboard that could handle a couple of processors on it. I was wondering, does anyone still make any motherboards that will handle multiple processors installed?

Yes, although they are all in the "workstation" or "server" channel; you won't find consumer boards like those any more. Especially with the rise of many-core CPUs.

Why do you need that these days? Other than actually wanting to run a multi cpu server that is.

Ok, so the reason why we don't see these any more is because you already get multiple cores in one processor now, I guess.
