Put the alarm where you have to get out of bed to turn it off.

Get a clock radio if for you radio is harder to ignore than a steady alarm buzz.

Go to bed earlier.

I suggest getting a pet and training it to pee at a specific time in the morning. Position it before you sleep and you're done. It's what the Amish do so you know it's going to be successful.

Make one.
Sound activated switch on a circuit linked to a bucket/similar with sluice gate for water, the gate being lifted by a motor, the moto being activated by the switch flicking, the switch flicking due to the noise of the alarm.
Hey presto, an alarm that covers you with water.

Step 1: Download "College Alarm Clock"
Step 2: Set it to wake you up by playing a random MP3 at a given time in the morning (Heavy Rock preferable)
Step 3: Turn the volume up to max on your speaker setup (preferably 5.1 surround with 'woofer)
Step 4: Prepare to wet yourself as you're abrupdtly awoken the next morning, thinking the world is about to end.

Download a program called WakeUp Version 1.40. It's free. I could even e-mail it too you if you wanted. It's small enough. (around 36KB) you set the time and you can use it's built in sound, or it'll play any audio file you want it too. Turn up your pc speakers to blasting volume. This works without fail to wake me up. The song plays loud as all hell. It scares the hell out of me, and I jump out of bed. This is kind of annoying but it works well in waking me up.

I haven't heard of this one. Yeah, the blasting music scares the sh!t out of me shooting me right out of bed. :) THe one I use haas a gradual volume increase feature, but this kind of defeats the purpose. That initiall blast gets me every time.

They have alarm clocks for the hearing impaired that wake you up in all kinds of interesting ways.

set your alarm to radio and then pick some horrible spot on the am band where it's just gonna make all kinds of godawful hisses and howls. that sh!t wakes me right up in the morning.
