Learn to alt-tab! :D

oh i use that a lot. i even thought of buying this "button" you put on the floor and step on which in turn puts up a random screen

even with alt-tab, the clicking can arouse suspicion.

A silent mouse would have a good niche market.

I use the touchpad on my Macbook when my roommate is trying to sleep, it clicks silently. Not sure about a regular mouse though.

while you're at it...make a silent keyboard too. Even those that are out right now saying it's "quiet"...are not really quiet at all.

I'd totally buy a silent mouse and a silent keyboard.

I'd actually like a louder clicking mouse, and a keyboard that screams everytime I hit a key.

Or maybe a keyboard that shouts words of encouragement.

"Yeah you can do it!!!"
"You're in the zone!!!"
"It's Thursday, one more day till the weekend!!!"

Have you seen that keyboard that actually projects a keyboard onto the surface and senses where your fingers are? No keys to click, just tapping whatever surface it is projected on. I think it was around $100 or so.
