Do they have DVD players on Army bases?

My buddy is serving in Afghanistan right now, and he is a huge soccer fan. I recorded some Soccer games and I wanted to burn them to a dvd for him as a little pick me up suprise. Would the army have DVD players on the base for him to watch the movies on? The only thing that sucks is that I have to send the movies in both DVD + and - format for the best compatibility...

I would imagine SOMEONE would have one, especially considering they can be had for ~$50.

I don't know if the Army does but my brothers destroyer had a dvd player.

They've got a couple hundred thousand wrapped up in Xbox equipment on some bases....I'm sure that somebody could pop the extra $30 and buy the DVD kit for one of them.

I can assure you they do (due to the fact I'm sitting in Iraq right now). Someone will either have a laptop or AAFES (the people in charge of ripping off soldiers sell them in their shopettes
