Do they even make cars with Crank windows anymore?

Sure they do. Go look at basemodel trucks and econoboxes.

<-- has manual crankers

Yes. Chevy Cavalier from last year had them on the base model. Cobalt has them, etc. Cars under 15k for base model almost always have manual window cranks without any additional package upgrades.

I'm sure they do, but I'd never buy one myself... Just too much of a hassle really (going to each door and rolling the windows up yourself if you think it might rain, etc.)

Hell, even my old 1992 Pontiac Bonneville had power windows.

my 2000 focus has them.. though the crank rotates reverse of what you think it would be.. ppl coming from other cars nearly break that thing.

Any fleet vechiles will have them. I sorta prefer crank windows becuase it seems so much faster. Some autos are extemly slow up and down.

I realize that, and my current car is only two model years newer than that anyway.

My point was just that if they could do it cheaply on a fairly basic sedan over ten years ago, I don't really get why they wouldn't do it on all cars these days...

I see those all the time, but what I'd really like to see is a new car with a crank STARTER for the base model. ;-)

normally you keep them rolled up anyway, except for yours ;)

I'm indifferent, power windows are KIND of nice but meh, either way works.

lol...I guess I was just thinking of the car I had before that (which didn't have power windows), when the A/C went out less than two weeks after I got it. I had no choice but to drive with all the windows open (this was the middle of summer in south Texas, mind you).

My last car had power in the front, crank in the back. The back windows only went down about 6 inches anyway.

And yet, even two decades from now, the phrase "roll down your window" will somehow still be in use.

You're not switching things up too much as I already mentioned that. :)
Some exotics do and some don't, it depends on how crazy the makers are about weight.

This reminds me - I need to replace the drivers side power-everything switches on the Vandura, they're dying hardcore style.
