When I try to install the new ATI MCE control panel for Media Center edition 2005, it gives me the error that ATIMCE.DLL fails to register.
I looked up the COM error code returned and it is an access denied error. Looked into it with filemon, and it looks like the real cause (the reason access is denied to 2 files) is that the files that DLL needs to register don't exist on my system.
Specifically it is looking for atimceENU.dll and atimceLOC.dll.
Anyone have these?
