Do these cables look correct?

Hey guys, this is my first time building a case from scratch, and I was wondering how my cables looked.
Good, bad? Did I do anything stupid?


Also, my 8-pin EATX, cable was a bit short, so it's in there really tight. Is this going to become a problem?

Wow. Really nice job with clean cable management. Looks like you took some time with that.

The 8pin power looks fine to me. It is in there straight with what looks to be a good seat in the connection.

The only question I have is the fan header the rear fan is in. I can't see I that is the CPU fan or if there is another close to the socket. You just want to be sure you are plugging your CPU cooler fan(s) into the CPU fan header.

Thanks! I was kind of worried I was stretching the cables too much.

The 8pin is lying on top of the CPU fan headers. I /think/ the fan cable will just be able to fit around it.

If you feel it's too tight use an extension.

You could always un-sleeve the cable, flatten it out and run it UNDER the motherboard.

It's usually not recommended to run power wires under the motherboard, but I've done it frequently without any issues. As long as you're not deflecting the mobo and keeping the wires thin enough where the weldpoints in the back won't puncture through the insulation on the wires, you'll be fine.

I'd rather have that, than an overstressed plastic power connector that can't be replaced... D:
