Do the zalman cpu coolers & fans work well compared to SKL-800

Frys has the zalman package for $24.99 (flower HS + 92mm fan + bracket)

or SVC has the thermalright SLK-800 for 29.00 + an 80mm fan - either a panaflo (L1A), PC Power & Cooling Silencer, or Zalman ZM F1.

I'm currently running a stock athlon 1500, but will be getting a 2100 or higher within the next month.
Current HS/F is Volcano 6+ and I'm tired of the noise. My current temps are 44C idling for hours or 48C after 8+ hours of Prime.

I also have 2 generic case fans, I in front pulling in, and one in back pushing air out.

I would prefer to see my temps stay the same or go down a bit, but I'm not sure if the slower / quieter fans will do the job?

Basically does anyone have experience w/ the zalman kits, or should I spend more for the thermalright?

I have the Zalman CNPS-6000Cu which is I believe what they sell at Fry's. I'm running a 2000+ with it and in "silent" mode it runs about 55C. At full tilt the temps go down above 5C. So, you could try the Zalman with the 2100+ but it might be pushing it's capabilities. Though, I don't have any case fans, hehe. I would spend the extra money on the SLK-800 with a silent fan, could be better. Just my $.02 hehe. Good luck with whatever you buy!
