Do the tags in shirts bother anyone else?

I don't know how it started, but most shirts have tags right in the back of the next. It's always really annoying. I try to cut them off right away but they're hard to get out, and are scratchy. Why aren't all shirts tagless? Why can't they just imprint their design/info on the cotton instead? The idea was real bad from the beginning and has gone on much too long.

There's not a wide variety of tagless shirts to choose from. They really sew in the tags well most of the time so you can never really dig em out without having a big chance of runing the shirt.

i cut out the tags that are inked on the back of the neck, which leaves a bunch of shirts with holes in them :|

I have cut the tags off my shirts for years, but it is not because they are itchy, it is because that way when they find my lifeless body in some cheap hotel room in Moscow they won't be able to identify me by where I buy my clothes (old CIA spy trick).

Yep, they itch real bad and I always rip them out as soon as I buy a shirt. Sometimes the thread bothers me too :(

My wife cuts them out of all new shirts before they get washed the first time. I've literally torn the neck out of shirts trying to get than fvcking tag out, so...to save "wear & tear" on shirts, she de-tags them for me...

No they don't bother me. The only ones that do are some of those shirts that have the tag in the seam along the left or right side. They probably moved the tag from the next to the seam b/c of idiots like you complaing.....you just couldn't leave well enough alone could you....I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY NOW!

Saw a special recently, I think it was PBS, about a family with a 40 year old Down Syndrome son. He had the mental abilities of a 3 year old. He could not stand tags in his clothes, specifically shirts, at all. He'd remove a shirt with so much as a loose thread, throw it at his parents and say, "Fix it!" After it was "fixed", he'd put it on, take it off, examine it, put it on again and repeat that sequence a few times to be sure it was satisfactory. My heart goes out to those parents. :)

I hate that too! Why don't they just make it completely tagless?! Why?! That, and the more expensive clothes with the little harder tabs that you're supposed to remove before washing them for the first time. I never notice them until folding/hanging them afterwards and make the o_O face.

Some tags on some shirts bother me. If they do I usually fold them so that they don't (it's usually the corners that get me).

Then we must band together and fight the tags. I don't know how we will get the message across, maybe some online petition, those almost always work, right? ;)

tags in the back are ok for the most part...unless it's itchy to the point of me scratching myself badly.

I HATE the tags on the sides tho...i HATE THEM.
