hi!

i would like to buy the revelator shutter-glasses from elsa for REAL 3d graphics on my pc. according to the elsa webpage it works together with all NVidida cards. now my problem: As far as i understood it, i would have to install special drivers instead of my normal detonator 3 driver. is that correct? or does the revelator work together with all new detonator drivers (i.e. does the "normal" detonator driver already include 3d-glasses-support)? because the newest revelator driver at the elsa webpage is based on the detonator 530, and that is quite an old driver. i would not like to use the revelator, if it would stop me from always using the most recent drivers...

is there any work-around?

thanks for your help,

rupert

I have a pair of wireless glasses and the last time I used them they required the revelator drivers. I haven't used them in months as I now use a Radeon but I assume it is the same. The drivers allow you to load your own drivers when not using them, but it requires a reboot and a reboot again to load the revelator drivers. If you get them just make sure your monitor can support a minimum refresh rate of 100 at the resolution you plan using them in, 120 is ideal.
