Do the mods look at every thread?

There's a fair number of them, I think it's safe to say that your posts aren't unmoderated.

Although I know that sometimes it can be hard to find a mod in the wee hours of the morning (3AM for example). Some nights they're just all asleep

Do they read every thread? No. If a thread gets many replies will they eventually read it? Yes.
